Belleville

About Belleville Bistro

From decor to ambience to food, Belleville (named for the Parisian neighborhood) fashions the perfectly French bistro here in Park Slope.  Designed to look lovingly worn, Belleville is at once comfortable, with its tin ceilings, tiny-tiled floors, bar back glittering with wine glasses, distressed mirrored walls displaying plats du jour, with rows of wood-paneled banquettes, and tables nuzzled close together.  In fair weather, windows open out onto Brooklyn’s bustling Fifth Avenue and sidewalk seating.

The reasonably priced menu features very good bistro fare from croques madames to steak frites and duck confits.  There is even a kid’s menu for little gourmands-in-training.

Casual, conversation-packed meals easily unfold…This is a welcoming neighborhood place for a romantic dinner, weekend brunch, or desserts and a glass of port.
